Luigi, aka "illustrazionidilut," is an artist exploring the connections between nature and humanity through his work.
Luigi,
the artist, aka illustrazionidilut
Luigi is a curious, introspective artist deeply influenced by nature, Japanese culture, and the timeless traditions of fine art. Born in Florence, Italy, in 1987, he was immersed in art history from an early age, which sparked a lifelong passion for creative expression.
From his teenage years, Luigi became captivated by drawing and comics, dedicating countless hours to emulating his favorite mangakas as he searched for his own distinctive style. The joy of drawing often made time seem to vanish, fueling his desire to perfect his craft.
Although he initially pursued a degree in physics to secure economic stability, Luigi eventually returned to art after a decade-long hiatus, reigniting his creative journey during the pandemic. His work gained recognition online, and he began collaborating with prominent art brands. Along the way, Luigi explored new techniques beyond his traditional use of pencil and ink, overcoming his long-held fear of color. As a colorblind artist, he embraced the expressive potential of watercolors and gouache, finding beauty in the unique ways he experiences color.
Since relocating to Germany in 2017, Luigi has held his first exhibitions and started teaching art classes in Munich, sharing his knowledge and passion with others.
This art print features a loose and expressive watercolor rendering of an iris flower. The delicate petals are painted in soft, flowing strokes of pink, blue, and emerald green, blending together in a harmonious and fluid composition. The watercolor technique captures the elegance of the iris with its subtle transitions of color, creating a sense of movement and depth. The gentle wash of pinks adds a touch of warmth, while the cool blues and vibrant emerald greens bring freshness and life to the piece. Perfect for adding a splash of nature-inspired beauty to any space, this print evokes a sense of tranquility and natural grace.
